Artist Statement
My starting point is basically a nature; mobility and endless energy, which are our constitutive of existence.
Mobility brings sudden variations in its wake. For that reason my working process also spontaneously branch out.
Sudden emotional changes, my existing period of time and atmosphere that surrounds me, they are my paintings’ main factors of genesis.
Everything appears when I stand in front of the blank canvas.
Power of my brush related with my sensational games. Continuously variable but always confident.
My artworks have powerful structures and saturated backgrounds in terms of a material. Texture has a great importance of my expressions. It’s a tool for me to build up the space and to make the viewer feel the space.
With natural materials that I use in my paintings, I enter a new world, which is fictionalized by ruins that nature drag and drop from past to present.
