Sara Galkin

I was on a paved path that has recently shifted. My everyday life experiences, have culminated into a visceral poetic language driving me to express my personal journey through abstract form, line, and color.

I have an elaborate dreamlife, and my imagination embodies the subconsciousness of the past and present, offering no real sense of time or reality.
The figures in my paintings are characters invented in my imagination or ubiquitous in daily life.

When I paint, I am lost in a world without planning or time.

My medium of choice is oil on canvas
