Hafsteinn Larusson

Born in Iceland in 1960, I am a self‑taught artist whose work is rooted in a lifelong engagement with visual expression. Over the past decade, I have developed an abstract practice shaped by intuition, experimentation, and a deep interest in gesture, movement, and atmosphere. Influenced by artists such as Jackson Pollock, Franz Kline, and Mark Rothko, my paintings explore the interplay between energy, emotion, and the physicality of paint.
