Hamid Khayyamzadeh

My Narration

Painting, for me, is a circular connection between the brain, the heart, the body, and the world around me.

Imagination, contemplation, and creation are among my greatest joys in life. Through painting, I explore the space where thought, feeling, movement, and surroundings meet.

My Style

I put my pencil to paper and begin to draw—short and long lines, continuous and interrupted, straight and curved, moving back and forth, up and down.

From these movements, shapes begin to emerge. They grow and take form through the rhythm of my hand and the freedom of my imagination.

The shapes that appear are not always planned. They arrive, settle onto the surface, and simply declare their presence—sometimes loudly, sometimes quietly.

I allow them to speak in their own way.
