Hami Vaurakko

When other kids got barbies, I got art supplies (and well, some barbies too, but I then colored Kens' face green). Art has been a part of the everyday life, and only later I realized how unusually easy relation do I have to it. These days, my paintbrush is my nose. It helps me breath.

Many of my paintings would categorize as modern Impressionism, but abstracts are equally close to my heart. Here, you can see mainly oil paintings either on canvas or canvas board. Besides these works, you can see some aquarelle, colored pencil art and other on my Instagram website Hamipaints.

I am self taught, apart from lessons from professional artist aunts, the same ones that kept me in art supplies as a kid.
