Hannah Levin’s paintings explore the point at which light makes reality feel surreal. Moving between cityscapes and landscapes, she shifts fluidly from constructed space to the abstract rhythm of the natural world, using light as both subject and atmosphere. Turning to form, Levin's sculptures play with visual perception in 3 dimensions. Using geometry, illusions of space, and a shifting viewpoint, Levin creates surprises as the viewer moves around the piece.
Levin is a painter and sculptor from New York City whose practice is shaped by an interest in art, science, and the mind. She has studied drawing, painting, and sculpture at the Art Students League of New York since 2018, and graduated from Northwestern University in 2024 with a BA in Cognitive Science, Design Engineering, and Human Computer Interaction. Now based in London, she continues to develop her fine art practice while expanding into animation and stonecarving.
