Hanna Gudjonson is a photographer who makes self-portraits as a way to push the limits of her own vulnerability and process danger and trauma. She uses self-portraiture to reestablish a sense of embodiment, and to find beauty in the darker depths of her being.
She has exhibited her work internationally in Asia and all across the US. Her work has been published in multiple catalogs and recently, she won two grants to be an artist-in-residence at the Chateau Orquevaux in France.
