Hanan Al-Sagheer

I began drawing as a child, when art became a natural way for me to express what I felt and imagined. From an early age, I was drawn to colors, forms, and the freedom of creating without limits. Over the years, painting has grown from a childhood passion into a way of understanding my emotions, memories, and experiences.

I primarily work in acrylic on canvas, creating contemporary abstract paintings through vibrant colors, layered forms, and symbolic imagery. I am drawn to the emotions that exist beneath the surface of everyday life—the feelings, memories, and moments that are often difficult to put into words. Through abstraction, I transform these inner experiences into visual compositions that leave space for each viewer to find their own meaning.

For me, painting is not only about what is seen, but also about what is felt.
