Hayedeh Omidghaemi

I am a London-based watercolour artist whose work is inspired by flowers, portraiture, and the quiet poetry of everyday life. Working primarily in watercolour on paper, I am drawn to softness, transparency, and the expressive possibilities of light and colour.

My paintings explore delicacy, atmosphere, and emotional quietness, often focusing on floral subjects and the human face. Through layered washes and controlled spontaneity, I aim to create work that feels both intimate and timeless.

My artistic practice is rooted in observation and sensitivity, with a classical appreciation for beauty, gesture, and mood.

My work has been selected for a number of international watercolour exhibitions and festivals, including exhibitions in the United Kingdom, India, France, Poland, Iran, and Ecuador. In 2026, my work was selected for the 145th Annual Exhibition of the Royal Scottish Societ
