Heather Collis

Heather Collis creates intuitive, emotion-driven work that moves between abstraction and the natural world. After being diagnosed with Lyme disease in 2025, painting became a way to process and move through chronic pain, fatigue, and brain fog.

Her abstract pieces carry energy and tension, while her animal work reflects presence and connection. Together, they form a body of work rooted in feeling rather than perfection.

She currently resides in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, NY with Zina and Zizi, who run the house and influence more of her work than they realize.
