Heidi Liebermann

Heidi Liebermann was born in Hamburg, Germany.

She studied "Graphic Arts and Illustration" at the Academy of Arts in Hamburg. After her masters degree she worked for several advertising agencies as a layout artist.

1965 - Marriage to the Brazilian architect Ramis Rayes followed by a move to Brazil in 1974, the year in which she had her first group show in São Paulo at A GALERIA alongside artists like Portinari and Di cavalcanti.

1976- II Salão de Artes Plasticas da Noroeste, Penápolis,Sao Paulo and soon her first solo exhibition in Vitória/ES- Galeria Homero Massena, followed by several other shows across Brazil as in 1981- individual exhibition at Galeria Azulão, São Paulo
1990 - Return to Germany and from then on several exhibitions in Europe and Latin America

2014 - Individual exhitibion Meu Pais Tropical, MAES- Museu de Arte do Espirito Santo

Currently, Heidi Liebermann lives and works between Brazil and Germany.
