Helen Nhan

Helen Nhan (b. 1987) is a Canadian abstract artist based in Ottawa, ON. She returned to her artistic pursuits in 2018 after placing it on hold to build a successful practice as an Optometrist.

Her current ongoing body of work began with exploring the intrinsic voice of colour. Within each piece, she constructs a visual narrative by incorporating colour, form and texture with brief introductions of geometry. While her works are rooted in conscious composition, her choices of colour remain instinctive and personal.
