Helmi Fuadi

Born in Banyuwangi on February 14, 1990, Helmi Fuadi currently lives and works in Yogyakarta.
His practice explores themes of human psychology, social dynamics, and behavioral patterns, approached through art as a form of reflection and emotional therapy.

In recent works, he expands his painting practice by incorporating unconventional materials such as glass, paper, newspapers, and discarded posters, allowing layers of memory and lived experience to surface visually.

Rooted in a strong background in theater and interdisciplinary collaboration, his creative process often merges visual art, performance, and collective engagement as an integral part of the work itself.
