I paint a world where human and animal characters meet, blending reality and imagination. My work begins in everyday life and transforms into surreal, lyrical scenes inspired by both urban and rural environments.
Through grotesque figures and playful colours, I explore human behaviour, social interaction, and the tension between individual and group. My compositions combine humour, anxiety, and chaos, juxtaposing the excitement of city life with the tranquillity of nature.
I work primarily in oil on canvas, seeking rich colour, texture, and the plasticity of paint. My paintings allow an infinite range of shades, shapes, and characters, inviting viewers to interpret the narrative and find their own meaning.
Ultimately, my art is a dialogue: the grotesque and the familiar confront the ordinary and the absurd, inviting reflection, curiosity, and emotional engagement.
