Leaving the place we love means we are condemned to inhabit that loss forever.
This is how Hernando Gonzalez Arrazola begins his paintings, covering the canvas with impressions of what he has experienced, he has the right to talk about his coastline, his desert, his mountains, he has the map of the world as he knew it engraved in his heart and the paintings he makes become a representation of his impressions, each one contributing to creating those sublime images that we believe exist but have not been discovered until now. It is impossible to separate the spirit from the place of growth.
For these reasons his paintings are full of color, which those born in the tropics cannot forget and are always an invitation to the viewer to participate in something deeply imagined.
