From an early age, I spent much of my childhood in my grandfather's studio, where I learned the traditional techniques of oil painting. This foundation in craftsmanship has given me the freedom to explore a wide range of artistic expressions.

Unlike many artists, I do not limit myself to a particular subject, technique, or artistic style. My work ranges from almost photorealistic paintings and expressive landscapes to freely abstract compositions and experimental process-based art. I am equally fascinated by the precision of traditional painting techniques and the unpredictable interplay of colors, materials, and chance.

A defining characteristic of my work is my exploration of light, color, and the beauty of impermanence. Above all, I strive to preserve my childlike curiosity and joy of experimentation. I believe that this openness is the foundation of my creativity and artistic freedom.

My training in traditional craftsmanship has profoundly influenced my artistic development. I began painting in oils at the age of six. From the very beginning, mastering the technical skills of painting was particularly important to me and remains the foundation of my artistic freedom.

Over the years, many artists have inspired me. Initially, I was particularly drawn to the Impressionists, especially Claude Monet. Later, I became fascinated by Gerhard Richter, whose remarkable artistic versatility continues to inspire me.

For me, art means remaining curious, constantly evolving, and discovering new ways of expression. I see artistic development as a lifelong journey – one in which the destination is never truly reached.
