Born and raised in Brooklyn N.Y.
Hasidic Jewish artist Hillel Weiser started making art at a young age,
Now part of the Hasidic Jewish art movement.

His paintings are a visual of expressions, emotions, memories and joy,

By leaving his work not so definitive, he conveys a free state of mind and allows the spectator to interpret.

“Just flow with the movement of the marks, find the way into your own imagination.”

After years of drawing realistic landscapes he discovered his visual language, thus stepping aside from his intentions.

The compositions are usually made of rather flat looking forms and
With a very limited color palette, which is selected beforehand. He starts with some dabbles in watercolor and then lets his imagination control the brush.

He embraces spontaneity in his work, while maintaining a sketchy drawing look.
