Hisami Kuriki

I am an abstract artist based in Japan. When creating my intricate pen drawings, I enter a deep, meditative state where it feels as if my hand moves on its own. Without any preliminary sketches, I let the lines and rhythms naturally pour onto the paper.
Along with these drawings, I also create handmade accessories.
My work is inspired by vibrations, energetic rhythm, and the powerful force of the full moon.

【Organizer and Exhibitor of Charity Art Exhibitions】
Organizes and hosts a national charity art exhibition every 1.5 years in Japan. Has successfully held 4 exhibitions since the COVID-19 pandemic, gathering over 100 artworks from artists nationwide and donating all proceeds to UNICEF, with the latest event raising 150,000 JPY.
