Keen interests in human behavior and environmental concerns inspire me to expose human emotions and nature's conditions in my art. Life experiences which shape me personally, compel me to cut, form and weld metals into lively sculptures and reliefs. I am challenged to reveal the essence of a character or a moving experience, and to connect heart with mind over the range of human emotions. Reading facial expressions was key to my career in business communication; it continues to focus my awareness as an artist.
