My painting practice begins with observation but gradually shifts toward listening.

I work with subtle movements — the flow of paint, the quiet balance between structure and emptiness, and the moment when a landscape becomes an inner space rather than a visible place. Many of my works are inspired by the northern highlands of Vietnam, where mountains, village paths, and small houses appear and dissolve within mist and memory.

I am interested in the point where form almost disappears but presence remains. Thin layers of oil paint allow gravity, time, and silence to become part of the image itself. Rather than describing specific locations, my paintings explore atmosphere, distance, and the feeling of dwelling within landscape.

Since 2014, I have worked as an independent painter after many years in graphic design. My work moves between observation and lyrical abstraction, where image becomes trace and trace becomes experience.
