Holly Mcwhorter

My creative practice is a blend of art, craft, design, writing, and filmmaking. My work places an emphasis on color and graphic forms, speaking often to my work as an interior architect and graphic designer in terms of composition, the illusion of depth, and functional three-dimensional objects at the scale of furniture. It also often explores the roles that design and aesthetic history and culture play in our experience of the world.

My professional work for others has included writing about architecture and design for an assortment of publications, photography, editing, grantwriting, graphic design, and natural health research.
