Sushil Rao

Mostly, my intuitions crystallize as short haiku-like poems.
Sometimes I’m able to translate these intuitions into abstract paintings.

I create on a computer, print on canvas and embellish by hand.
It's important to me that paintings be clear, articulate and well-resolved.

Everyday, I practice being in a state of inner stillness and self-sincerity.
I'm interested in exploring the reality that exists at the core of me.

In moments that I succeed, I feel ecstatic !
As a poet and a painter, this is what I want to talk about.
