Hugo Brun

Setting up his own contemporary furniture company in 2019, Hugo Brun developed a distinct artistic vision focused on unconventional pieces with emphasis on bright colours, geometric shapes as well as contrasts: nature vs urban, antique vs modern, complete vs fragmented. Hugo views art as open-ended—meant to provoke emotion and interpretation rather than convey fixed meaning.

His pieces are designed to be noticed, to disrupt visual comfort, and to spark conversation. They blur the line between functional object and sculptural artwork, often embracing bold forms, unexpected materials, and exaggerated proportions.
