Hyun Ok Kim

She lives and works in Berlin. She studied Fine Art at Hongik and ChungAng Universities in South Korea. She paints using classic techniques such as oil or acrylics on canvas. The motifs are mainly nature and children in nature, surrounded by trees, at the beach or in quiet dialogue with an animal. She likes the power and the innocence of nature as it presents itself in children, trees and animals. To experience them, to feel and to paint them is a blissful moment. This is the subject matter she deals with in her work.
