Mircea Iacob

I am a Romanian painter and PhD candidate at the National University of Arts in Bucharest (UNArte).
My artistic practice explores the dialogue between classical aesthetics and modern emotion, what I call “the modern soul in classical armor.”
Through painting, I research how visual syntax, philosophy, and human experience merge into timeless images that question our perception of self and history.

My works have been exhibited nationally and internationally, focusing on narrative, introspection, and symbolic composition. Each painting is both a personal reflection and a study of visual language.
