Ileana Mulet

Ileana Mulet was born in Holguín, Cuba. She is a painter, draftsman, designer, and writer, and a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts of San Alejandro, where she specialized in Interior Design and Costume Design for Cuban Television. A member of UNEAC and the international poets’ organization Loinus / Rejoinsnous, she has held more than forty solo exhibitions across Cuba, Mexico, Spain, Italy, the United States, and Latin America, and participated in nearly sixty group shows. Her work, rooted in magical realism, uses layered color, expressive shadows, and poetic symbolism to evoke imagined worlds where memory, body, and dream converge.
