Ileana Ostropolsky

I was born in Argentina in 1973 and in 2001 I emigrated to Spain in search of new experiences.

I studied graphic design, graduated in 1995 and have worked as a designer up to date. In 2010 an inner call made me look for brushes and start exploring other forms of creativity, and that's how I started painting.

I feel a deep love for animals and the planet, which has led me to look for a way to communicate, through my art, the importance of taking care of it and protecting all life that lives on it. That is why I paint animals that are full of life and color.
Much of my artwork is painted on recycled driftwood that comes from the beach cleanups we have been doing for 10 years.

I defend and promote a philosophy of life linked to nature and responsible consumption.
I firmly believe that it is possible to do what we like while taking care of the planet.
