Imogen Morris

Imogen is a UK based artist who is redefining the boundary between craft and fine art through her innovative use of thread.

In Summer 2026, Imogen completed a very successful Artist in Residence at Bankside Hotel, London. Alongside an Artist Residency at The Grand Hotel, Birmingham, with the Charles Pedone Collective.

In 2025 Imogen completed her largest corporate commission to date for PWR Robotic Packaging, (Netherlands), became a Graduate Member of the Royal Birmingham Society of Artists and continues to receive esteemed endorsement from ‘The King’s Trust’ through their Enterprise Programme.

Her original works are now held in a number of private and public collections in the UK and internationally.

Artist Statement:
Highly focused on the medium of thread, my practice challenges the boundaries between craft and fine art. By putting a contemporary spin on thread, I transform a traditional material into sculptural form.

I see thread as my pencil or paintbrush, exploring the versatility of thread in ways that means it intrudes into other mediums.
