Inna Bazhanova

I am a contemporary artist based in London.

The main theme of my works is the space in which we exist and our interaction with it, an individual perception of things visible for some of us and hidden from others.

I am intrigued by the topic of the multiplicity of reality. Within the same space-time framework, people experience a moment influenced by their individual perception, and I am interested in how the same thing is seen and remembered differently by different people, evoking various associations and meanings. I find it fascinating to ponder the parallel worlds that exist in each person's consciousness.

I am also interested in the concept of non-linear passage of time depending on our awareness, inner life, and external experiences.

I see art as an opportunity to see and share different worlds within our world.

I am inspired by architecture and architectural fragments, ornaments, and decorative elements.

I create my paintings using my original art photography. I work mostly in traditional oil painting, acrylic or tempera paints, as well as structural pastes and mixed media objects.
