Infinity Artist NAO derives her name from her birth month, August, represented by the number 8, which resembles the symbol for infinity (∞). This powerful connection reflects her core artistic philosophy—creating timeless, limitless expressions that transcend boundaries.

As a Leo, NAO identifies deeply with the lion, a symbol of strength, presence, and expressive power. In Hawaiian, the word “Leo” means “voice” or “message”, mirroring NAO’s commitment to channeling soulful messages through her artwork—art that speaks directly to the heart of the viewer.

Born in 1990 in Chiba Prefecture, Japan, NAO founded her creative entities INFINITY SIX and INFINITY ARTIST, both inspired by her birthdate, August 6. For her, “LEO” is more than just a zodiac sign—it is a spiritual self-portrait and a vehicle for meaningful expression.

In 2023, NAO expanded her creative influence by delivering commissioned works to E.SUN Commercial Bank in Taiwan, including pieces displayed in their newly opened Fukuoka branch in Japan. These projects mark her growing presence in both international and corporate art spaces.

Studied the fundamentals of painting and sculpture at an art preparatory school in Chiba Prefecture, laying the foundation for entrance into an art university.
Later enrolled in the Department of Industrial and Craft Design at Musashino Art University, one of Japan’s most prestigious art institutions.
Majored in Textiles, where I explored fabric design and developed a strong sense of color.
This vivid sense of color continues to influence and shape my current painting practice.
