Inma Saurina

I am Inma Saurina, a Spanish visual artist and fashion designer. I describe my creative practice as “sewing dreams into reality” through my mind, hands and heart.
For more than twenty years, I have explored the connections between art, fashion, the body and space. My tools are pencils, needles, threads and textiles. Through them, I transform ideas into unique pieces that can move between fashion, sculpture and visual art.
My practice is driven by experimentation, craftsmanship and a fascination with the expressive possibilities of the human body. Moulage is one of my main techniques, allowing me to construct forms directly on the body or mannequin and to develop sculptural volumes with precision and freedom.
Art has always been essential to my way of seeing the world. Dalí is one of my inspirations, while theatre, architecture, music and the visual richness of the Baroque influence my imagination. I am particularly interested in the space between the real and the imagined, where a garment can cease to be simply clothing and become an artistic object, a character or part of an environment.

2026 — Conexión Falla — Art Exhibition, Tuscany, Italy.
Creation and presentation of an evolving contemporary art installation inspired by Spanish composer Manuel de Falla (1876–1946), bringing together imagined characters, drawings and sculptural moulages. The project explores the connections between music, the human figure, movement, memory and Spanish cultural heritage through a contemporary visual language.
