Inti Gallardo (b. Argentina, based in Berlin) is an experimental artist and filmmaker working across 16mm film, analog photography, and digital intervention. She holds a Meisterschülerin degree in Art and Media from Universität der Künste Berlin (UdK), where she was nominated for the UdK President's Prize, and MFA degrees from Universidad de Chile and Universitat Politècnica de València.
Her work has been exhibited internationally at Berlinale Shorts, ZEBRA Poetry Film Festival, Rencontres Internationales Paris/Berlin, and numerous institutional venues. She has completed artist residencies at Villa Waldberta (Munich), SCHIESSLHAUS AiR (Germany), and SONOSCOPIA (Portugal).
Her artistic practice explores the tension between organic and technological systems, focusing on themes of symbiosis, archive, and the materiality of the image. Working primarily with analog processes — 120mm film, Super 8mm, and 16mm — she investigates how images behave as living organisms: growing, decaying, and replicating across media.
She is a founding member of ÁNCORA Coop, an artist-run cooperative based in Berlin, and CEIS8, an experimental cinema collective.
Limited edition prints and film stills are available through her personal studio website and ...
