Irina Malisova

I am a contemporary artist based in Ireland, working with landscape as a space for inner experience rather than depiction.

My practice explores moments of transition — when mist lifts, light shifts, and clarity quietly emerges. I am drawn to nature not as a backdrop, but as a living system where harmony exists even in change, tension, and movement.

Through expressive, intuitive painting, I create works that invite stillness, immersion, and contemplation. Rather than offering a fixed narrative, my paintings open a space for the viewer to slow down, turn inward, and reconnect with a sense of balance and presence.

My recent series, "The quiet power of nature", reflects on the subtle strength inherent in natural landscapes. It explores how coherence, beauty, and calm can arise even within uncertainty, revealing nature as a mirror for inner states and quiet transformation.
