Irina Biunger

Irina Biunger was born in the beautiful cultural city Saint-Petersburg in Russia in 1983. Irina started to paint when she was 10 years old. She attended Art School in Saint-Petersburg and successfully finished it after 4 years with best grades. She participated in different artist competitions with various success.
After that she decided to go other way than artist and finished University for Finance in Saint-Petersburg and later a Finance Master Program at the Potsdam University, Germany. But all the time she never stopped to paint and draw and visited various art classes by the classical Russian artists. In 2010-2011 she attended the Art Academy in Saint-Petersburg and participated there in drawing classes.
In 2012 she started to paint with oil and she fell in love with this material. Most of her paintings are in realistic style with a lot of details and oil paints are the best choice in this case.
Since 2015 she lives in Germany with her family and a lovely cat, Channel. She creates all her works in her studio in Stuttgart using professional paints and canvases.
