I am currently practicing on illustration, taking a main direction to fashion as connecting to my fashion editorials.

As per my painting, my practice involves representational responses and contemporary interpretations to the visual world, lying between realism and abstraction. While I have been constantly inspiring by past and contemporary influences, my artistic aspiration is to explore the intensity and harmony, contradiction and beauty in engaging compositions of the visual world and drive the viewer along with me in this journey. Human face and figure feature strongly in my work as to me it consists the sublime of life; it becomes the fundamental element of communication, enabling me to convey my perception of reality.

I have mostly been looking for visual sources providing a range of colours and tones, a variety of surfaces and plentiful/complicated compositions to work with. Subjects such as beauty, image and loneliness have been some of my concerns to start projects occasionally, working mostly from photographs as it allows me to take my time to comprehend subjects, reconsider and interpret.
