RECOGNITION

Isabel Judez (1992, Guri, Venezuela) is an artist and architect based in Paris. She graduated with honours from the DNSEP Art programme at ESADHaR in 2024 and is currently pursuing a post-graduate programme in Art and Site-Specific Practice at Beaux-Arts de Paris.
Her practice operates at the intersection of sculpture, performance, architecture, and textile. Through collaborative processes, she explores textile as a spatial, social, and political language, activating local knowledge and collective dynamics to propose new forms of inclusive and ecological monumentality. Drawing on ecofeminist and relational perspectives, her work investigates the tensions and interdependencies that shape the social fabric.
Judez creates environments that engage with collective memory, territory, exile, and feminine narratives. Her works often combine natural fibres, recycled materials, stone, and digital fabrication techniques to explore how heritage can be reimagined through care, interdependence, and participation.
She has presented her work in France at institutions including the Musée des Archives Nationales, the Musée de la Corderie Vallois, and the Jardins d’Étretat, as well as across the Americas at Salón ACME, MAC Panamá, and Allegro Gallery...
