ABOUT
EXHIBITIONS
For more than twenty-five years, French photographer and visual artist Isabelle Schmitt has explored urban night photography, architecture, movement and reflections through a distinctive and highly recognizable visual language.
Exhibited internationally at venues including the Grand Palais in Paris and the National Art Center in Tokyo, her work transforms light, motion and urban atmospheres into emotional and immersive visual experiences suspended between reality and abstraction.
Founder and President of the Digital Art & Video section of the prestigious Salon d’Automne in Paris since 2016, Isabelle Schmitt has played a pioneering role in bringing digital creation and contemporary visual practices into one of France’s most historic artistic institutions.
Her photographic work has been presented through galleries, institutions, international artistic events and private collections.
