Born in November 1954, daughter of the art painter Raffaele, Ivana Barsciglie’ lived and studied in Sorrento until 1975. Here, she learned painting techniques from her father and improved them with time.
In 1971, she finished the Art School at Istituto Statale d'Arte Palizzi of Napoli: here, while attending to local famous artists workshops, she also took part as a ceramist at the event "Primavera Napoletana".
In the 80’s she moved to Rome where she had the opportunity to learn the ceramic Raku technique from “Demode” Studium.

Ivana Barsciglie’ has done numerous collective and personal exhibitions.
In 2005 and 2007, she has been selected for “Arte Padova” and “Biennale di Firenze”.
