Welcome to my corner of the site. I hope you enjoy my work. A little about myself:

I studied art and painting for 8 years, it has always been my passion. I achieved a diploma with honours from the Art School No1 in Nalchik, Kabardino-Balkaria, Russia. Then studying and obtaining my diploma in classical painting from Kurgan University, near Moscow.
I was then employed as the head of creative arts for schools in the city of Nalchik for 3 years. I now reside in England and am concentrating purely on my artwork.

Nalchik is a beautiful city, situated and the foot of Mount Elbrus in the Caucasus. It is truly a city of extremes, long beautiful summers and bitterly cold winters, with deep snow. But it is not just the seasonal extremes in Nalchik, the whole Caucasus region suffers from the hardships of war and the constant fear of terrorism.

My paintings combine bright colours and dark forms, inspired by observation of life in Nalchik. They depict the incredible beauty of the of the mountains and nature of the Caucasus and the underlying hardships of the war and terror which suppresses man.
