Izabela Kostiukow

IZA KOSTIUKOW

Born in Giżycko. She studied at the Academy of Fine Arts (currently the University of Arts) in Poznań and obtained a diploma in the studio of Professor Jacek Jagielski in 1993. She is a member of the Association of Polish Artists and Designers, Warsaw District.
She is devoted to easel painting.
She participated in numerous exhibitions and open-air art workshops of international importance. Her works can be found in private and state collections: in France in the collection of the city of Henin-Beaumont, as well as in Italy, Germany, Turkey, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Lithuania.
Iza Kostiukow is employed at Water Tower - the Centre of Culture and Art Gallery - in Konin, where she conducts classes in the drawing and painting studio. She is also a curator of plein air painting. In the years of 2013 and 2014, in cooperation with ABC Gallery in Poznań, she organized the International Artistic Plein Air - Summer Jam.
In 2011, the Artist was awarded by the President of Konin with the Badge of Honour: “For the services to the city of Konin”.
In 2017, awarded with the Caryatid statuette in the category: Creator - for a consistent painting attitude and promoting fine arts.
