Izya Smirnov
As a conceptual artist, I feel the renaissance of the postmodern style and
its rethinking, which is commonly called a metamodern. - Metamodern,
in my opinion, is a cultural renaissance.
□ I was born in Kazakhstan, the city of Karaganda in 1988. I was fond
of drawing from a young age. The main love for the visual arts was
instilled by the teacher of art history of the children's art school
V.Malyshev, whom I still consider to be my main guide to the world of
Art.

At the age of 18, I entered the Zhurgenov Academy with a degree in
Theater Painting. Then, from the 3rd year of the academy, I transferred
to easel painting at ASU (Almaty State University).

□Exhibition in the Library of the First President of the Republic of
Kazakhstan in honor of the ceremony dedicated to the International
Holocaust Remembrance Day. The exhibition was marked by a letter of
thanks from the Ambassador from Israel.
