Julieta Méndez

Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in 1990, she has been drawing and painting for as long as she can remember.
In a very intuitive and natural way she began to express herself through the plastic arts, strengthening her knowledge through various drawing, painting and ceramic courses from the age of 10.
Her career in the art of muralism began in 2011, in Buenos Aires, with the attendance of a painting course specifically for murals.
In 2012 she began her first long journey through Latin America applying on a large scale what she had learned and financing her travels thanks to the creation of numerous murals in Perú, Ecuador, Colombia, Venezuela, Uruguay and the Antilles.
In 2015, upon returning to Buenos Aires, she began to intervene in public space through murals generated by the motivation to transmit light and hope.
Her journey resumed in 2017 again in Ecuador and Colombia, where she participated in urban art festivals, and then arrived in Mexico for the first time in 2019. Here she dedicated herself to learning and observing one of the main precursor cultures of muralism and all its many art forms. At that time she also began a research on long-lasting natural paints applicable to environmentally friendly wall techniques.
