Jahanvee Sharma

Jahanvee Sharma is an Indian contemporary visual artist working primarily in acrylic painting. Her artistic practice explores human emotions, memory, imagination and the ways personal experiences shape our identities.

Her earlier works investigated emotional and psychological experiences through abstraction, symbolic imagery and richly layered textures. Motherhood brought a new perspective to her practice, inspiring a body of work that explores childhood, nostalgia, attachment and the emotional connections between generations.

Drawing from her own childhood memories and the experiences of her daughter, Sharma creates dreamlike worlds where children, animals, nature and familiar objects coexist. Through textured surfaces, expressive colour and visual storytelling, she transforms ordinary childhood encounters into reflections on memory, belonging and emotional inheritance.

Her work has been exhibited in Delhi and Mumbai, including at Artizen Art Gallery, Nehru Centre Art Gallery and AIFACS. Her artwork has also been featured in *The Times of India*, Mumbai.
