Jamie Cooper (b.1972, Manchester) makes sculptures that could resemble the plastic signage or price tags found in shopping centres – but they have sprouted eyeballz of their own...Cooper imagines these signs ‘to take on their own consciousness’ and break free from the purpose as shop signage to become something strange and new.
