Janet Carolien Blanken

Janet Blanken was born in Germany and lived from her third year on in The Netherlands, because her father was Dutch. Having a Dutch father was quite special 19 years after the End of the Second World War. She moved several times back to Germany. The first time because of the relationship of her parents and the second time because of her being an artist.

Janet Carolien began to paint out of an inner need to express herself. She has colourfull and expressive acrylic paintings on raw canvas with a unique selfdeveloped style and technique.
