Janette Lockett

Janette Lockett was born in Yorkshire, England in 1963. Her passion for horses developed as a young child.

Having found the perfect setting for her creative talent in Andalusia, Spain, she began her career as a self-taught equestrian artist and has had much success with her work internationally.

Janette paints with a unique style using pastels.

Known primarily for her equestrian paintings, Art Equus, Janette also paints ethereal nudes in shades of grey.

Self-taught artist.
Janette is an associate member of the Society of Equestrian Artists UK.
