Janick Houle is a professional photographer and trainer since 2003. She mainly teaches at Université de Montréal and at Gosselin Photo. Montrealer with Metis-Algonquin origins, she specialized in portraits, nature, documentaries, art of the scene and multimedia projects, as a photographer. She also likes to make conceptual and multimedia projects.

Janick has been exploring photography since 1986. She took classes at Collège Ahuntsic, Cégep du Vieux-Montréal and Collège Marsan. She perfected her knowledge of Miksang’s contemplative photography while completing a training program at Miksang Institute for Contemplative Photography in Colorado (2012).
