Born in France, Janine Stern comes from a family of artists who have received many awards and recognitions in painting, architecture. Only recently did she recognize her own artistic talent and dedicated her spare time to artistic endeavors. My goal is to leave the viewer with a brighter and happier feeling even for only a few moments.I have a passion for colors and their influence on our moods. I select vivid tones to make my viewer feel happy and take them a step closer to a smile. I enjoy the effect of light and the reflection of objects through mirrors, water or other surfaces.
In 2000, she moved to Remsenburg Long Island, located in New York, giving up her business career to dedicate herself to many artistic endeavors as well as benevolent activities. Recently, she joined the Long Island Institute of Fine Art where, under the direction of Robert Armetta, and applied her experience toward creating oil painting of still life paintings, landscapes, historical landmarks and portraits. Her dedication to the arts and her great sense of color resulted in an impressive number of works.
She continues to paint after moving to Florida.
