Jaroslaw Bikiewicz

Jarosław Bikiewicz (b. 1981, Poland) is a sculptor, visual artist and industrial designer whose practice operates at the intersection of contemporary art, design and speculative concepts of future human environments.

He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Lodz and the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, graduating under Jarosław Kozakiewicz while also working in the studios of Grzegorz Kowalski and Tomek Rygalik.

Bikiewicz is the creator of Botism, an original artistic and design concept exploring the relationship between human beings, technology, architecture and multifunctional objects. Through sculpture, design, performance and theoretical projects, he investigates how organic forms can mediate between technological systems and human perception.

His recent work focuses on biomorphic sculptures created through an intuitive and meditative process. Rather than being designed in advance, forms are discovered through direct interaction with material. The resulting works occupy a space between abstraction and figuration, often evoking archetypal presences, ritual objects or entities existing beyond conventional visual experience.
