I draw, and then I paint. I do so naively, classically.

Art is the imitation of reality. It allows life to appear as it is.

Art as pure Aristotelian imitation is today a statement of political and religious conservatism.

'Modern art' is expensive junk, but my work is for human beings who admire the cardinal virtues. At present, our lands are ruled over by corrupt junk. That makes me unhappy and I have decided to work in a conservative way.

PhD, Philosophy (Liverpool); MA Philosophy (Liverpool); BA (English) Surrey.

I have written and published on the following: my time with the British Army in Iraq; Jacques Derrida (1930-2004); Martin Heidegger (1888-1976); David Icke; Dante Alighieri’s Divine Comedy; a novelistic work called ‘Life’; a longer poem called ‘The Afterlife’; a collection of shorter poetry; a collection of essays on Orthodox Christianity; a book called ‘The Book’.
